We Have Answers
Here we've collected answers to all the questions that have come up about SEA Safeguard in the past.
We hope you'll find the answers to your questions here too. If not, feel free to contact us directly, and we'll do our best to help. Let's get started! 🚀
- How does the trial work?
The trial allows you to use the tool for 14 days without any commitment. During this time, you can fully utilize SEA Safeguard for your accounts, including all error checks and insights available in the paid version. You can check up to ten accounts during the trial period.
To test SEA Safeguard, simply register with your email address (no payment information needed for the trial). Then, link your Google Ads account and set up a project. The trial period begins when SEA Safeguard checks an account for the first time.
- What data does SEA Safeguard store about my accounts?
SEA Safeguard does not download your Ads accounts but retrieves all necessary information (e.g., campaigns, ads, keywords) in real-time during an account check. Your campaign structures or performance data are not stored with us.
If errors are found, SEA Safeguard stores some details to present the error to you. For example, if an issue is found with an ad, the ad, along with its campaign and ad group (names and IDs), will be stored.
During the check, we collect and store all final URLs from an account to check them later (e.g., for 404 errors). This is done separately because URL checks can't be performed during the account check due to time constraints.
We also store the names and IDs of the accounts that SEA Safeguard can access to display them in menus, as real-time retrieval would take too long.
- What does SEA Safeguard do with connected accounts?
If the accounts are assigned to a project, they are regularly checked for potential issues. SEA Safeguard only accesses accounts in a read-only mode, so no changes are made.
- Do I need to provide payment information upfront?
No, registration for SEA Safeguard is easy and straightforward. You only need an email address and a password. In the next step, you link your Google Ads account and start checking your accounts. The trial version is limited to 10 accounts.
- Can I use the trial version with my team members?
Yes, the number of users in the trial version is unlimited. During the 14-day trial, you can invite as many users to the tool as needed.
It's important that you don't each register separately for the trial. Instead, simply invite your team from within the tool to work on projects together.
14 days after the admin starts the trial, SEA Safeguard stops automatically, and no further data, insights, or optimization potentials are added to the tool.
- Am I automatically the admin of SEA Safeguard for my team?
If you are the first to register for the trial version for your team or company, you become the admin of your company. You need to invite additional team members and manage their access rights. You can also designate additional admins in the company and transfer your admin role if needed.
